The importance of the right place
The production area is enormously suited to the Valtellina PGI Apple. The valley’s eastern-western exposure and the “Breva” (thermal wind) from nearby Lake Como make the weather in Valtellina very mild, ideal for cultivating and producing apples.
The altitude and the particular structure of the terrain contribute to giving the product the typical characteristics of mountain apples.
